I totally agree with this,especially because in life you don’t depend on anyone. You should only care about your grades, the things you learn and how they’ll help you in the future.
When you’ll get a job, the interviewer won’t ask you if you were the best in your class or something like that. You only learn for yourself,not for your parents or a friend because later on, you’ll be the one taking exams and getting jobs.
In conclusion, you only need to know your worth and your capacity of learning.
