My opinion is that it is more stressful because when you work for a company that is not yours it is much easier not to manage the company. But if you have your own company you have a lot more work to do to manage an entire company. It is much more stressful, you have a lot of responsibilities, a lot of expenses and risks, if the business didn't go well you would get food and nobody wants that.
In conclusion, it is much more stressed but you have chances to earn much more money and reputation but it is also risky.
